1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Massu AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
2. Description of Service
Massu AI is an AI Engineering Governance Platform that provides code quality verification, session memory, security scanning, audit trails, and related developer tooling. The Service is offered as an open-source core with optional paid cloud tiers for additional features such as cloud sync, team collaboration, and enterprise compliance.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service beyond what is permitted by the applicable license
- Use the Service to transmit malicious code, malware, or any harmful content
- Resell or redistribute paid features of the Service without prior written authorization
4. Intellectual Property
The Massu AI core software is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1). The BSL grants you the right to use, copy, and modify the source code for non-production purposes. Production use requires either staying within the free tier limitations or purchasing a paid subscription.
All trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand names associated with Massu AI are the property of their respective owners. You may not use these marks without prior written consent.
You retain all rights to your own code and data. Massu AI does not claim ownership of any code analyzed, stored, or processed through the Service.
5. Data Handling
The open-source core stores all data locally on your machine. No data is transmitted to external servers unless you opt into the Cloud tier features (Cloud Pro, Cloud Team, or Cloud Enterprise).
When using Cloud features, session data, observations, and analytics may be synced to our cloud infrastructure hosted on Supabase. We process this data solely to provide the Service and do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
For details on data collection and processing, please see our Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions and Payment
Paid tiers are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any pricing changes take effect.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MASSU AI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the dashboard settings.
Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or audit compliance).
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
